Thanks to his role and commitment in shaping a modern and sustainable logistics sector—capable of meeting the needs of both logistics operators and communities —Sandro Innocenti, Senior Vice President and Regional Head Southern Europe at Prologis, has recently been awarded the prestigious Pentola d’Oro by Quotidiano Immobiliare. This annual award, presented for the past thirty years, recognizes a prominent figure in the industry who has distinguished themselves through professional achievements and human qualities.
This is the first time the award has been given to a representative of the logistics sector, a significant signal of the increasingly strategic role logistics plays in the real estate landscape and in the sustainable development of our country. The recognition also comes at a key moment in Sandro’s career: his recent appointment as Regional Head Southern Europe at Prologis, and his leadership role at the logistics committee of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare—two privileged platforms to actively contribute to building a logistics sector that is more modern, efficient, and attentive to the needs of operators, local areas, and communities.
“The future of logistics is an exciting challenge, and I’m happy to face it together with an extraordinary team,” commented Sandro. “We need teams focused on value cr ation for our clients, beyond just space. We need logistics to be socially sustainable, accepted by communities, attentive to workers’ needs, and attractive to new talents”.
